The AYVAZ KV-4 Lug Type Butterfly Valve is an ideal choice for fluid control in industrial facilities. With its DN400 nominal diameter, in addition, it performs effectively on large-diameter lines. Furthermore, the gear operated actuator allows the valve to open and close precisely. Moreover, the compact body design offers easy installation and reduces maintenance requirements.
Its working principle relies on a disc that rotates on a vertical axis inside the body. As the disc turns, consequently, it opens or closes the fluid passage. Sealing takes place between the elastomer gasket and the metal disc. Therefore, minimum pressure loss is achieved in the fully open or fully closed position. Body material is GG25 cast iron in lug type. The shaft is SS420 for DN25–DN300 and SS431 for DN350–DN600. For DN300 and above, horizontal installation is recommended. The maximum working temperature is 130°C.
