The AYVAZ KV-4 Lug Type Butterfly Valve DN100 combines a GG25 cast iron body with an AISI316 stainless steel disc. In addition, its gear operated actuator lets operators make precise open-close movements even at large diameters. Therefore, it delivers efficient flow control in industrial plants.
The valve controls flow by rotating its disc on a vertical axis. Moreover, because the disc turns around its own axis, flow continues uninterrupted in the fully open position. As a result, pressure drop in the system is minimized. The shaft is SS420 for DN25–DN300 and SS431 for DN350–DN600. An elastomer gasket seals against the pipe flange. For DN300 and above, horizontal installation is recommended, which also simplifies maintenance.
