A TORK S2083 Steam Solenoid Valve is manufactured to the highest engineering standards to give precise flow control in industrial steam lines and high temperature liquid and gas installations. Moreover, its 2/2 way normally closed working principle suits non-aggressive fluids as well as air and inert gas lines. In addition, it needs a minimum 1 bar differential to operate and switches steadily up to 10 bar maximum, therefore most steam headers are covered.
A brass body with a 1/2″ connection and 14.5 mm orifice gives a high flow coefficient of KV 70 l/min. Furthermore, stainless steel internals and a high temperature PTFE diaphragm adapt perfectly to fluid temperatures from -10°C to +180°C. As a result, an H class insulated coil runs without trouble under continuous energisation. Consequently, using the valve with a filter keeps limescale and sediment from affecting it.
