The Ayvaz KP-2W Capacitive Level Electrode provides continuous smart level measurement in conductive and non-conductive liquids. Moreover, it is designed for industrial facilities, steam boilers and chemical storage tanks. In addition, the integrated smart transmitter produces a standard analog output proportional to the level.
The measuring mechanism uses the electrical capacitance formed between the electrode rod and the tank wall. As the liquid height changes, the current between the plates is tracked precisely. Therefore, the electronic filtering design reduces linearity errors caused by stray fields, inductive reactance and conductivity effects. Since there are no moving parts, mechanical wear is eliminated. Furthermore, the aluminum injection housing and stainless steel body withstand high temperature and pressure.
