The AYVAZ Flow Switch 8” provides reliable flow detection and alarm signalling in wet pipe fire suppression installations. In addition, it sends a signal to the alarm panel as soon as water movement is detected. Therefore, it is especially preferred in sprinkler and foam systems. Moreover, it detects flow within the 4–10 gpm range.
A paddle-type mechanism brings the unit into operation instantly with water movement, while the UL Listed and FM Approved construction supports high safety standards. Operating pressure reaches 400–450 psi, and the operating temperature range is 0°C to 49°C with water. The 8 inch U Bolt connection suits steel water pipes from Sch.10 to Sch.40.
