The AYVAZ KV-4 Lug Type Butterfly Valve is engineered for high performance in industrial flow lines. In addition, its GG25 cast iron body and AISI316 stainless steel disc provide long service life. Moreover, the gear operator enables precise open-close control even at large diameters.
The valve works by a disc rotating on a vertical axis to regulate fluid passage. The elastomer seal sits between the pipe flange and the body, sealing the line and acting as a gasket. Therefore, fully open or fully closed positions give effective control with minimal pressure loss. The stem is SS420 for DN25–DN300 and SS431 for DN350–DN600. Horizontal mounting is recommended for DN300 and above, and the maximum operating temperature is 130°C.
